North Shore Knot & Shot Contest
Get Ready for the First Annual North Shore Shot & Knot Contest!
Join us on April 11th & 12th, 2025, at Highwater Tavern in Fairport Harbor for a weekend of nautical fun! Contestants will compete by taking a shot, tying a bowline knot, then throwing the tied rope on to a wheeled pylon and pulling the pylon over with their beer. Be the first to finish the beer in record time for great prizes each night! Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a landlubber curious about the knotty arts, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Let’s tie one on (literally) at this unforgettable celebration of maritime heritage and community fun.
Fairport Adult Mini Golf Scramble
Join us on May 17th for our Mini Golf Scramble! 20 Teams of 2 will compete for the Fairport Cup and cash prizes! Registrations is $40 per team and includes 9 holes of golf, hot dog and chips. Beverages (including alcohol) will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Fairport Harbor Arts and Culture Alliance’s Free Concerts. Cash prizes – 1st place – $120, 2nd Place – $80, Best Golfing Attire – $40.
